"ZIPPY Reds" The Zippy family is a short to middle distance family that is Meuleman based, and mainly comes in recessive red or red mottled colors. They tend to be medium sized with good muscle structure and have above average eyesign. They have been responsible for winning Grand Champion best of show Des Moines IA in 04', and 3rd Champion Bird 03' OBs. for me (took first three Champion birds in my club). I have had tremendous luck with them crossed in my Black Knight Family. I have pictured below a good cross section of some of my top Zippy breeders that are a good representation of the family. |

AU 01 PBX 1026 "Annie" One of my foundation Zippy breeding hens. Annie is medium sized and a good representation of the Zippy breeding hen stock. This family excells at the short/middle distance races and have crossed in well with my other families of racers.
